Was mankind, humans created as evil? No.
They were created in the image of God, so originally God created them as good.
They were good to start with. This means that God doesn't restore us back to
neutral or bad with good on top. That’s us saying an “dirty sinner saved by
grace” which is to say evil with a
thick coat of good paint on. We are
restored back to being good – deep core being that’s good.
