28 Days In Eden - Day 2: Who God Is

He preexisted. As much as we can’t fathom it, God preexisted in three parts (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) before we ever were. That means God has characteristics that exist outside of us as human beings. God had character, quality, likes and dislikes, emotions and passions before human beings ever entered into the equation to alter or even perceive them.
He's a creator - so He likes making new things. He's inventive and super creative. He’s full of ideas – gift ideas, marriage ideas, project ideas, art ideas, fashion ideas, etc.
He's compassionate. He made something and took care of Him. He doesn't create things then leave them alone.
He likes peace. As He created everything there was peace and harmony among all living creatures and their atmospheres.
He's' not insecure. He made a being after Him - in His image to be like not just look like Him (i.e. creative, powerful, loving, sincere, intimate, merciful, just, extravagant, etc.) He doesn't need to micro-manage, part of His original plan was to give us power and authority over all the earth (1:28; 2:15, 19)
God created order but doesn't have to always fit into that order. That means God doesn't have to play by the rules of physics of what is or isn't possible (flying, moving mountains, moving oceans, transporting, etc.).
God created time but also doesn't have to fit into that spectrum we call "time." He isn't stuck in time with us, so He can go before you in time then come back and tell you information about what will happen. (That’s why you want to listen when He directs you which way to go – because He can go ahead or behind and see the outcomes.)
